Angela Maria DiMauro, age 89, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017 at The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born on May 28, 1928 in Floridia (SR), Italy, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Giuseppina (Gallo) DiPaola.
Angela was raised and educated in Italy and married her husband, Thomas, at the age of 18 while he was attending medical school. Together they traveled to live in the United States from 1956-1959 and then again to stay for good in 1965. She learned English by watching and studying shows like “I Love Lucy” and more recently enjoyed watching game shows like Jeopardy and Family Feud. She was a member of the Parish of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Nashua, NH. Of late, Angela had been living in Redington Shores, FL, where she was a social butterfly and very active with her many friends. She loved listening to music and playing Bingo and card games such as Solitaire and 21. Angela’s passion was cooking Italian food for her family and friends. Many of her special recipes have already been handed down to her daughters and granddaughters. Her family was her pride and joy, and she loved displaying her walls of photos of all her family members and friends. She will be remembered as a selfless woman with a big heart and a generous spirit, who was fiercely devoted to her husband of 67 years and to her children and grandchildren and friends.
Angela is predeceased by her husband, Thomas G. DiMauro, who passed away in 2014 and one brother and two sisters in Italy.
