Condolence: Such a lovely lady and so talented. I used to love to refer to Dorothy as "the artist" when I would be out with her and Rick. A number of Dorothy's paintings adorn the hall at St. Elizabeth's which I acquired while stationed there. There are also a few as I recall at Corpus Christi Parish. May this fine lady rest in peace. God's peace upon Rick, a fine man of deep faith and his family.

My sincere condolences to you and your family at this time of loss. I was saddened when I learned of Dorothy's devistating illness that robbed her of good health too young. She was gifted with many talents. I complimented her on her beautiful painting that Grant gave me as a gift. She invited me to her home anytime to view many of her other paintings. I regret not doing that.
Loosing a loved one, soul mate and best friend is very difficult. Keep her close at heart by the many wonderful memories that all of you have shared. As you grieve her loss my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God Bless.

Condolence: Dear Rick and Family,
I knew I couldn't attend the Funeral this morning so I celebrated yesterday's 10:30am Mass at the Cathedral for the repose of Dorothy's soul. May she now be at peace with her Lord. Many years ago, Dorothy gave me a beautiful oil painting of a storm on Lake Superior which I have proudly displayed in my house. It will be a constant reminder to me of Dorothy, a gentle spirit and a very talented painter. Blessings on you for being so devoted to her especially during these last couple of years and blessings to your family.

Condolence: Rick and family. I thought very highly of Dorothy. Her coming to our hockey games, and breakfast after. I was quite saddened about her health issue, and remember talking to her about it in early stages. I was pleased to drop in and see you guys at your home a year or 2 ago. She was herself briefly in that living room calling me by name. Mom has a painting of hers here which is nice. Sail boats tied up at the shore. She will be missed. All the best to you Rick.
