Obituary for Emma Rose Botts

Emma Rose Botts, 69, of East Stroudsburg passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital- Pocono. She was the wife to William M. Botts. Emma was born in Manhattan, N.Y. to the late Andrew and Emma Saunders.

Emma has resided in the East Stroudsburg area for the past 14 years and prior to that she resided in Rockland County, New York. She was of the Baptist faith. Emma graduated from Northeastern University in 1968 with a degree in nursing. She worked as a pediatric nurse early in her career at Flower Hospital in NYC. While at Flower Hospital, she co-wrote nursing publications used in many area hospitals. For most of her life, she worked as an Administrator in the human services field touching many lives.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her two sons William M. Botts, Jr. and Walter Andrew Botts. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Donte Alexander Botts and Cecelia Deirdre Botts.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
