Of Waltham, entered eternal rest & peace with his God on Sunday July 16th, 2017 in Emerson Hospital after an accident at Walden Pond in Concord. Francisco was just 28 years old.
Born on April 9, 1989 in Guatemala; Beloved son of Bernarda Contreras of Waltham. Francisco immigrated to the United States as a young boy and has been a Waltham resident for the past 10 years.
A graduate of Waltham High School with the Class of 2010, Francisco was a talented cook and had been working for both Margarita's Restaurant and Moody's Delicatessen also on Moody Street in Waltham.
Francisco was deeply religious and had a strong faith in his God. Family and Church were the most important aspects of his life.
He is survived by his devoted & loving mother Bernarda and his dear sister Beverley both of Waltham, and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services in celebration of Francisco's Life from the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Saturday July 22nd at 3:00 p.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Mary's Church, 145 School Street, Waltham at 7:00 p.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Mary Catherine Chapel on Saturday from 3 - 7 p.m. Burial Services will be held in Guatemala.
