Obituary for Betty Lou Beaver

Mrs. Betty Lou Earle Beaver, formerly of Vance Drive, passed away Friday, July 21, 2017 at Brookdale Place.

Her funeral will be 11 am Tuesday at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Deborah L. Frye. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in China Grove. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Betty was born October 7, 1928 in Rowan County to the late Bruce Eligah Earle and Mable Kennerly Earle. She was also preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Beaver, and daughter Nona Jane Miller.

Betty was a statewide substance abuse counselor with Piedmont Mental Health, after her own completion of a twelve-step program. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Betty is survived by her son, Earl Beaver, Jr. and his wife, Gloria of Concord; grandchildren, Matthew Miller and wife, Elaine, Hannah Johnson and husband, Chris, Daniel Beaver and Jennifer Boswell and husband, Kevin; five great grandchildren; sister, Louise E. Majors of Montgomery, AL; brother, Jerry Earle of China Grove; and a number of nieces and nephews.
