Condolence: My deepest sympathy to John's family. It's the oddest thing, but I just retired from State Farm 2 weeks ago after 39 years and moves to Bloomington and Atlanta. I've been thinking of people that were so significant during that time and wondered about John. A Google search found that he recently passed. I was John's secretary for some time in Jacksonville; it was during his back surgery and I would bring paperwork to his home for his signature. The twins were in college and he was so very proud of them. John was instrumental in my obtaining my college degree - at several points, offering to help me financially until the end of the term when State Farm would reimburse my expenses. John was a wonderful person whom everyone respected and admired. It's a great sorrow to not have reached out to him earlier. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
