Obituary for Margaret M. Griffin (Martinez)
Margaret M. Griffin of Hewitt passed away, Sunday morning July 23, 2017, at the age of 73. Graveside services and interment will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Waco Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Williams officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr. Waco.
Mrs. Griffin was born September 15, 1943, in Coolidge, Teas, the daughter of the late Pete and Margaret (Jimenez) Martinez. At an early age, she moved to the Waco area and attended school at Mt. Calm. Throughout her life, she enjoyed cooking and shopping. On August 16, 1997, she married Larry Griffin in Mart. From 1967 until her retirement as a stamper in 2000, she was employed aby Powers Embroidery.
Survivors include her husband Larry Griffin; two sons, Joe Rittenbaugh and wife Lisa, Willie Rittenbaugh and wife Jerrie; four brothers, Bill Martinez, Earnest Martinez, Raymond Martinez, Joe Martinez and wife Maggie; sister, Helen Hargrove and husband Butch, four grandchildren, Blake Rittenbaugh, Jessica Rittenbaugh, Brady Rittenbaugh, Ty Rittenbaugh and three great grandchildren.
