Dear Leinemann Family, I am heartbroken to hear of the passing of your mother. The last time we spoke, we talked about getting together and I always thought I would see her again. I'm so sad I lost that chance. I truly loved Elisabeth and your father Manfred with all of my heart. I always looked forward to seeing them because the room lit up with joy when they were around. We spent many countless happy times together. We were kindred spirits. They were always so kind and generous to me and my mother. I will never forget them. My life is better for having known them. I miss them. The Sangerbund will not be the same without them. I hope you find comfort in knowing how much they were loved and how proud they were of their children and grand-children. They spoke of you often and I loved hearing stories about your family. Thinking of you all at this terribly difficult time.

Dear Leinemann Family: I was so sad to read that dear Elisabeth has left this world. She and her husband were some of the most generous people I have met. They both were kind, helpful and always in good cheers. Once when my mother came to visit from Germany they invited us to their home in Annapolis. What a treat that was! They spoiled us with good food, conversation, and created a most memorable day for us but especially for my mother. My husband and I have only lovely memories of Elizabeth and Manfred. They both will be missed. We wish your family all the best and that you may get some comfort to know what marvelous parents you had.
