Condolence: The miles between us and not ever having met did not quench the lovely friendship that I had with Rickey. We communicated by email and she was a very, very special friend to me.
She very kindly dedicated one of her books to me and met my daughter who visited her briefly three years ago and was as lovely. Her zeal for life and her bravery and determination were an example to all, overcoming so many hardships she was truly an inspiration.
Rest in peace my dear friend-I miss you.

Condolence From: Dale and Janice Carter
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with Rickey's children and grandchildren. Also my surviving cousins for their love, help and dedication for Rickey. Although we lived at a distance, we shared our thoughts and memories over time. I know Rickey is in a much better place, enjoying the laurels she deserves for her strength, dedication and love which she shared with those around her.
