Obituary for Barbara Ann Gibson

Barbara Ann Gibson age 83, of Glen Allen, Missouri; passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She was born on November 15, 1933 in Anna, Illinois; daughter of the late Lonnie and Dora “Thompson” Prewitt. She and Roy were united in marriage on November 16, 1950.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia (Ray) Atchison of Glen Allen MO., two sons Rodger (Mary) Gibson of Woodriver IL., and Roy (June) Gibson Jr. of Cottage Hills, IL.

Barbara worked as a homemaker and was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Preceding her in death was her beloved husband Roy Gibson, parents Lonnie (Dora) Prewitt; one daughter Lisa Lippman of Oklahoma; one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2017 from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Brother Timothy Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in the Upper Alton Cemetery Alton, Illinois.
