Brenda Louise Moran (Hood)
Brenda Louise Moran, 62, of Waco, passed away Tuesday August 1, 2017 surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Friday August 4 at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Dr., Waco with Pastor Charles Moran officiating.
Brenda was born August 30, 1954 in Swindon, England. She married Elmer Moran on June 2, 1983. She worked as a correctional officer and truck driver throughout her career. Fishing was her passion and you could always look to find her with her fishing pole, but no matter what was going on she was going to make sure that her purse matched her flip-flops.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Elmer; daughter, Candy Kostel and husband Nate; son, JC Smith; grandchildren, Kinna and Jared Morgan, and Jaycee and Hunter Smith as well as many more extended family members.
