Mr. Carlos Darnell Steele, 41, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center.

Born October 25, 1975 in Salisbury, he was the son of the late of the late Lester Dillard and Sandra Steele Shaw.

Mr. Steele was a graduate of Salisbury High School, class of 1993. He was last employed with Powerhouse Recycling, Salisbury.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by grandparents, Helen and Vance Steele.

He leaves precious and loving memories to his children, Tayana Steele, Salisbury, Ashunti Steele Spring Hope, NC.; stepfather, Marvin Shaw, Salisbury; paternal grandmother, Mary Dillard, Salisbury; three grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Lisa Shaw, Seth Shaw (Sierra Bradley), Christopher Matthews, Micheal Dillard, Shonda Dillard, Shekinah Dillard, Jonothan Dillard, Brandon Dillard, Jamie Hosch, aunts, Brenda Steele, Shirley White(Johnny), Connie Dillard, Barbara Dalton, Cynthia Virden(James) uncles, Robert Steele, Barry Steele, David Joe Steele, James Steele, Melvin Shaw, Vance Steele, Jr., Kevin Holman and a host nieces,nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
