The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Sarna can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Too many to count

Bob and I worked together for a number of years. We worked together in OSHA compliance. He often told me that together we had changed the program around. That we had started to focus on the right things which is the safety of employees.

He had a significant impact on the lives of employees within the State of MN. There are people alife today because of the work he did. He was a great mentor to new investigatos and could provide great suggestions without appearing like he was teaching.

He had so many stories and happy times that he shared. He told me abut the time he was crossing a street in England and he looked right than left than right befoe crossing. He was almost hit by a car, but he was stopped by his daughter-in-law father who told him in England they look left than right than left.

Bob knew I liked fresh fish but didn't go fishing. So he used to bring in bags of frozen fish for me. The entire family loved it when I brought them home.

When ever I talked to Bob or recieved an email from him I woul laugh. He could always see something funny in everythin that he did.
