Ernest Johnson "Ernie", 78,
Ocala formerly of Largo, FL,
died Thursday morning at
Munroe Regional Medical Center,
Ocala. Our beloved husband,
father, grandfather,
brother, uncle and friend went
home to be with Jesus.
Mr. Johnson was born October
7, 1938 in Orange county
FL, to Martin and Faith Johnson.
He lived in Largo, FL until
moving to Ocala in 1987. He
was an Army veteran, devoted
husband of 53 years, owner of
a successful paint and wallpaper
store in Citrus County for
25 years. He was an avid Gators
fan, enjoyed fishing, and
fulfilled his dream of getting
his pilot's license.
He is survived by his wife
Sherry, siblings Charles Johnson
(Sue) and Susan Wilbur
(Danny), granddaughter Amber
Taylor, four great grandchildren
and several nephews and niece. He is preceded in
death by his daughter Kelly
Taylor and grandson Brandon
Taylor.
Funeral services will be
held at 3:00pm on Thursday,
August 17th at Meadowbrook
Church in Ocala, Florida. Interment
will follow on Friday,
August 18th at Serenity Gardens
Memorial Park.
