Giuseppe (Pino) Zito
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved Pino on August 10, 2017. Pino’s priority was loving and providing for his family. His favorite phrase was GRAZIE A DIO CHE SIAMO VIVI. Always passionate and outspoken, he displayed strength, dignity and faith in dealing with his years of struggle with a brain injury and cancer. Pino adored his wife Armida. He cherished his children Maria (Anthony ) and Francesco. Being at the hospital after the birth of his grandchildren Anthony Joseph and Sophia Argia, was the highlight of his life. His children and grandchildren are his GIOIA and legacy. Pino joins his loving mother and father Maria Rizzo and Calogero, and all family and friends gone before him. Pino will be missed by his family near and far, especially by his sister Cecilia, his brothers Toto and Guido, his sisters-in-law Enza, Rosa and Giovanna, his brother-in-law Claudio and his many nieces and nephews. Although there are many helpers to thank, the family would like to express their gratitude to Doctor Cantarutti, Doctor Berger and the staff at Hill House Hospice. Family and friends will gather to honor Pino on Tuesday August 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 6 to 9 pm, at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge, on Wednesday August 16, 2017, at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hill House Hospice at www.hillhousehospice.com in Pino’s memory.
