Condolence: We extend our deepest sympathy to Aqueda's family. A remarkable woman with a giant heart! Aqueda not only took remarkable care of the business at hand, but followed the lives of our Psychology Department's faculty, staff, and students for so many years, providing an anchor, a smile, sage advice, and genuine care. Her wall was filled with the so many pictures of babies born to those working and studying in our midst--just one way in which she became the nexus of our Department, providing support, and sparking a sense of connection and continuity. Her smile and laugh uplifted many! So many of us loved Aqueda, and she will always have a place in our hearts.
