OPIEL, Florence A. (nee Urbanczyk) of Blasdell, NY August 15, 2017; beloved wife of the late Robert M. Opiel; loving mother of Barbara (Jim) Fite, Laurie Sage, Lynn (Dave) Anstett, Joseph (Annette) Opiel and the late Robert (Kathy) Opiel; cherished grandmother of Renee (George) Jackson, Missy (Simon) Guzdzial, Alexandra and Kelsey Opiel, Amy (Brandon) Ross, Jessica Sage, Allison (Jon) Ferree, Christopher Anstett and Kyle and Tara Opiel; adored great-grandmother of Alexa, Chloe, Ariana, Blake, Carson and Peanut; daughter of the late Anthony and Mary Urbanczyk; sister of Emily Urbanczyk, Camille Close and the late Joseph Urbanczyk, Theresa Urbanczyk, Thomas Urbanczyk and Christine Orr; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive friends Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the (Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel) JOHN J. KACZOR FUNERAL HOME, INC. 3450 South Park Ave. where prayers will be said Saturday at 8:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church at 9:30 am.
