PETRA G. MARTINEZ
PHARR – Petra G. Martinez, 94, died Friday, August 18, 2017, at her residence in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Martinez; and a daughter, Olga De La Torre. She was born in Dr. Gonzalez Nuevo Leon, MX, and lived in Pharr all of her life.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her ten children, Maria Rojo, Alfredo Martinez, Bertha De La Garza, Armandina Canales, Gloria Estela Ledesma, Ricardo Martinez, Margarita Carrillo, Esmeralda Enriquez, Maria Magdalena Martinez, Sylvia Alicia De La Torre; 41 grandchildren; 94 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with 7 p.m. talk Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
