Peggy joined our family at age 7 and I instantly had an older sister.I have many great memories of our childhood together on family vacations, on the family boats and at the beach. We also shared many personal adventures. One that stands out involved belly-crawling from our bedrooms, down our (long) hallway and behind our sofa to watch television. Our parents were on the sofa watching "The Twilight Zone", which we were not permitted to watch. We did that several times and being the youngest, I usually got to watch the back of Peggy's head while she watched the show.
She was always searching for a spiritual foundation, not through conventional religious channels, but through ancient belief systems and more obscure means. She once took a pilgrimage to Egypt where she participated in a midnight ceremony inside a pyramid.
She was always goal-oriented, working tirelessly until her goals were achieved. She was a successful businessperson, first in a freight business an then as an independent insurance agent.
She enjpyed travel an investing and was an avid golfer for many years.
Although I didn't see her often, she was always just at the other end of a phone call. Ever since our mother's passing, she always used to say, "It's just you andme Rich." Rest in peace, sister and I hope that the other side is everything you hoped it would be.
