Ronald Thomas “Tom” Brannan II, 53, passed away in his home surrounded by family on Thursday, August 24th, 2017. Born on May 17th, 1964 in San Diego, CA, he was the son of Ronald Brannan and Jacqueline Leathers. Tom worked as a HVAC tech for many years, and was known in his industry and by customers as an extremely hard worker. He loved fishing, NASCAR (Mark Martin and Roush Racing), growing vegetables in his garden, and spending time with his family. Tom’s greatest joys in life were his grandchildren, Ava Grace Howard and Joshua Chay Dowdy II, his children Michael, Thomas, and Amanda Brannan, and most of all his wife of 32 years, Catherine.

Tom is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Leathers, and his younger sister, Tara Benson. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Brannan, and his older sister, Tracy Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held on September 2, 2017 from 4pm to 10pm at his brother and sister-in-law’s home at 232 Convention Drive, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. BYOB.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s name to The Wounded Warrior Project and the RNC (HaHaHa, Make America Great Again).
