Obituary for Denice Parker

Denice Parker, age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Hunt Community in Nashua. She was born on March 9, 1928 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Guy H. and Genice (MacMaster) Lintott.

Denice worked for many years as a successful real estate agent in Amherst, NH. Denice also served as a member of the Board of Directors at the Hunt Community. She loved spending time with her family, especially with her children and grandchildren and liked winters in Florida with her late husband Forrest Parker Jr., who passed away in 2002.

At the Hunt Community, Denice was an avid reader and enjoyed book club. She led and spent time on the library committee. She will be remembered as a true difference maker.

In addition to her husband and parents, Denice is predeceased by a sister, Lucille Cudhea and a brother, Frank Lintott. Denice has a twin sister, Genice Wells, who is a resident at The Huntington at Nashua.

Denice is survived by her three children and their spouses, Jeffrey Parker and his wife Clara of Pasadena, MD, Janet McCarthy and her husband William of Marblehead, MA and Linda Parker of Hollis, NH; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer Parker of Boston, MA, Major Jeffrey Parker Jr. USMC and his wife Chrissie of Annapolis, MD and Emily Muller and her husband Robert of New York City, NY. Denice is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Trey, Maggie, Charlie, Paul and Leah and many other loving family members and long-time friends.

Services: Friends and family are warmly invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00 am at the First Church, 1 Concord St., Nashua. Burial will immediately follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Amherst St., Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Denice’s name may be made to The Hunt Community- Susan Muise Philanthropy Endowment. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements.
