Cleo Beale, 85, of Independence, MO passed away August 27, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A visitation and service will also be held on Thursday, at United Church of New Cambria, New Cambria, MO. Burial at New Cambria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Brooks Lincoln Foundation, in memorial to her great grandson; and you may donate via PayPal to brookslincoln413@gmail.com Cleo was born May 7, 1932 on the family farm near New Cambria, MO. She was born to Virgil and Mabel (Tuttle) Siemens. She graduated high school in 1950, from New Cambria High School. On June 24, 1950, she married Vern Dale Beale in Brookfield by Reverend Kelley. Her working years were spent in customer service at Montgomery Ward. Cleo’s life was dedicated to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was so proud of them and her best times were spent with her family. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Vern Dale Beale; sister, Sinda Standley; two brothers, Charles (Buddy) Siemens and Virgil Siemens, Jr. (Duke); son-in-law, Chuck Stark; and one great grandson, Brooks Lincoln Harmon. She is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Rae Shoemaker and husband Rick, New Cambria, MO and Beckie Kae Stark, Independence, MO; one son, Danny Dale Beale, Independence, MO; seven grandchildren, Tom and Tarra Shoemaker, Macon, MO, Jeff Shoemaker, O’fallon, MO, Ben Shoemaker, New Cambria, MO, Anthony Stark, Independence, MO, Cody Stark and Chelsea, Odessa, MO, Brandie and Chris Vasek of Lincoln, NE, Bailey and Chad Harmon of Evansville, IN; seven great grandchildren, Allison, Emily and Gavin Shoemaker, Hunter, Hayley and Christopher Stark, and Kennedy Vasek; as well as one aunt, Mary Lee Sayler.
