George Manly  Twitty
George Manly Twitty, 86, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2017.

He was born on February 7, 1931 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, to the late Robert Sidney Twitty, Sr. and Leila Lewis Twitty.

Survivors include his two daughters, Angie Howard of Charlotte and Joyce Moore of Davidson, North Carolina; one brother, Vern Twitty of Stuart, Florida; one sister, "Frank" Mary Frances McElveen, of Hialeah, Florida; three grandchildren, Jason, Daniel and Sarah; and two great-grandchildren, Tasha and Jade Alexis.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Twitty, Jo Twitty Pope and Leonard Twitty as well as grandson, Ronnie Moore.

A Celebration of His Life will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart where Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard will follow.
