Roberta C  Tuttle
Roberta C. Tuttle, 72 of Middletown, NJ passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017. She was born on March 2, 1945 in Richmond Virginia. She graduated second in her class from Martinsville High School in 1963 and was active in her local parish, Trinity Friends Baptist Church. She moved to New Jersey in 1966 after marrying her beloved husband Billy, living in Keyport and then Middletown, where she resided for the past 40 years. Family meant everything to Roberta and she devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She was deeply spiritual, and her faith was demonstrated in all that she did. Roberta was an avid reader, enjoyed classical music, and loved spending time with her family. Her kindness, generosity and sweet southern charm will be missed by all who knew her.
Roberta was predeceased by her husband of 50 years Billy Tuttle and her mother Lola Blickers. She is survived by her daughter April Wilson and husband Jim; her son William and her beloved grandchildren Zachary and Brett Wilson all of Wall Township. Roberta is also survived by several cousins that reside in Virginia.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday September 8, 2017 from 4-8 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ 08736. A funeral service will be held 9:30 am Saturday September 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101.
