Age 82 of Waukesha, WI was lifted from this world with her family by her side on Friday, September 1, 2017. Pat was born on April 11, 1935 in Waukesha, WI to Vincent and Ann (née Bach) Raap. She graduated with the first graduating class of Waukesha Catholic Memorial High School in 1953 and worked throughout her life as a physician’s assistant and receptionist. Pat married Joseph “Jack” Rajnicek in October 1953. Together they raised seven beautiful children. She was preceded in death by Jack.

On July 21, 2000 Pat was united in marriage to August “Augie” Ulrich as she continued on her journey of life. Augie dedicated himself to Pat over the past five months as she faced multiple health challenges. Pat was a beloved and wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and sister-in-law. She was a cherished person to her many relatives and friends and will be sorely missed by all. She will be remembered as a caring, gentle and giving angel, who loved to have fun and was always smiling no matter what life threw her way. Pat was devoted to her Catholic faith and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish in Waukesha WI.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Augie, her children: Mark (Julie Van Pietersom) Rajnicek, Anne Rajnicek, Clare Rajnicek, Paul (Lorie) Rajnicek, John (Stephanie) Rajnicek, Julie Rajnicek, Kurt (Karin) Rajnicek, Peggy (Thomas) Ferch, Scott Ulrich, Pamela Ulrich, and Colleen (David) Beilfuss; brother, Michael (Carole) Raap; sisters, Teresa (Anthony Miele) Raap and Veronica Cose; brothers-in-law, Vincent (Mary) Ulrich and Paul Ulrich; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Ann Raap and sister, Margaret Wilhelmi.

A visitation and celebration of life for Pat will be held at St. Williams Catholic Church, 440 N Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188 from 9:00AM until the time of the 11:00AM Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

It was Pat’s last wishes that in lieu of flowers, memorials in her name could be made to: Waukesha Catholic School System, 221 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186, Catholic Memorial High School, 601 E College Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186 or a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice, Oconomowoc, WI for the loving care and comfort given to Pat and her family during her final hours.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
