The family will receive friends Saturday, September 09, 2017 at East Tennessee Funeral Home Chapel from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm or anytime at the residence. Services will immediately follow visitation, Pastor Bryan Orchard Officiating. Committal services will be Sunday September 10, 2017 at East Tennessee Cemetery at 1:00 pm.

Life Story for Paul Judson "PJ" Herron

Paul J. Herron (Mr. P ~ PJ) 80 stepped into glory on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at his home surrounded by his beloved wife, family and friends.
He was born in Hawkins County but resided in Blountville for many years.
He attended and was a member of Gray United Methodist Church where he drove the children’s bus and loved every second of his service to all who knew him.
P.J. had a great love for aviation, the Tennessee Vols, Nascar and fishing but more than anything he adored his family and friends. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brother; Otis Herron and long time friend Jim Dixon.
P.J. is survived by his beloved spouse of 24 years of the home; Pat Herron (Mrs. P). Daughters; Pennie Lester, Pam Phillips (Bryan) and Dana Bentley. Sons; Gregg Herron and a very special son Jimmy Wright (Rose). Grandchildren and the absolute loves of his lives; Mackenzie Lester, Rachel Phillips, Madison Lester, Abby Phillips and Chris Bentley. His beloved companion and buddy; Jake and long time friend; Phyllis Dixon. Several nieces and nephews.
