Carolyn Jeanne Springis (nee Smithpeters), a longtime resident of Warren, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017. She was 77 years old.

Carolyn was born on June 20, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri to Rufus and Bertha (nee Smart) Smithpeters. She worked for many years in the plastic industry. Outside of her work, Carolyn loved to spend time outside, especially gardening, trips to the beach, and traveling overall. She was also known as a great friend who loved keep in touch with close friends even until her passing. Carolyn was also known as a family woman who kept everyone together with her love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn is the loving mother of Nadine (Ted) Skenandore, Sam Login, Norine (George) Holder, and David Login; cherished grandmother of Mike, Amanda, Joseph, and Brandon; adoring great-grandmother to many; and beloved sister of Marilyn (Tom) Moreschini. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Jerry and Donald Smithpeters.

A committal service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Cadillac Memorial Gardens in Clinton Township at 10:30am. A luncheon will follow services at an announced location. Arrangements entrusted to Faulmann & Walsh Golden Rule Funeral Home of Fraser.
