Obituary for Larkin Bee Baggett Jr.

Larkin Bee Baggett, Jr., 86, of Colonial Heights, was born on April 15, 1931 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He passed away at his home on September 10, 2017 after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frances Jones Baggett and Larkin Bee Baggett, Sr. Larkin is survived by his loving wife, Alice H. Baggett of Colonial Heights, and one sister, Mary Carolyn Baggett of Grenada, Mississippi. He was a devout member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. As a young man, Larkin was adventurous, hiking to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and back up. He loved to travel. Larkin was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, from which he earned his Bachelors’ Degree in accounting. He had worked for Dan River Mills, Allied Chemical, and with the State of Virginia. Larkin had also served his country through his service in the United States Army. All services will be private.
