Condolence: I'm sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Robert Sloan. I would like to express my condolences to the entire family. Its our sincere hope you find comfort in knowing that God has promised to "swallow up death forever." (Isaiah 25:8) And reunite us with our loved ones by means of a resurrection. "Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.....to a resurrection of life." (John 5:28,29)

I'm sure that the last few months have been very difficult for your family, dealing with the many phases of illness. Be assured of my prayers for you and for Robert, as you deal with the grief of his loss. I am also officiating at another funeral on Wednesday for Mr. Ivan Feletto and so will not be able to be present at Corpus Christi to con-celebrate the Funeral Mass for Robert. I will pray for him that morning at Mass in the cathedral.

I was grateful to have spoken with Rob before he passed. He has always been fond in my memories and will continue to be a fond part of my life.
We had good times in our younger years and it made me happy to hear him laugh and joke not long ago.
I am sorry to hear of his passing and the sadness that it brings. It makes me think how short our lives really are because it seems like only yesterday we were in our twenties and invincible.

Condolence From: Paul, Noreen and Aaron Richard
Condolence: We wish to express our heartfelt sorrow and extend sympathy to the Sloan family. We met Robert last year at the start up of hockey season, as our sons were on the same team. We enjoyed spending time with him sitting in the hockey arena and watching the boys play. We knew, that at times it took considerable effort for him to get to the rink, but he did not want to miss any great moments and family time. We will remember Robert.
