Obituary for Mary Ann Marron (Quinn)

Mary Ann Marron, 83, of Carlstadt for 49 years, passed away at home surrounded by her family on September 14, 2017. She was born in Jersey City. For 20 years, she was the Guidance Secretary at Henry P. Becton Regional High School in East Rutherford, retiring at the age of 65. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, a member of St. Joseph’s Mother’s Club, and the Carlstadt Senior Friendship Club. Mary Ann was very active and supportive of all her children and grandchildren’s activities. Beloved wife of the late Sylvester “Syl” Marron. Loving mother of Mark P. Marron and his wife Margaret, Thomas V. Marron and his wife Suzanne, Judy A. Skibitski and her husband Richard, Michael J. Marron and his wife Karen, Kevin Marron and his wife Kristin and Brian K. Marron. Cherished grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter that loved and adored their Nanny. Dear sister of Helen McNamara, Jack Quinn, Joseph Quinn and the late Margaret “Peggy” Filosa. Caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 9:30 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, East Rutherford at 10:00 AM. Interment Berry Lawn Cemetery, Carlstadt. Visitation Monday 4-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House in New York or St. Joseph’s Church Restoration Fund, 120 Hoboken Rd., East Rutherford, NJ 07073.
