Obituary for Evan Malcolm Belcher

Evan Malcolm Belcher
Evan Malcolm Belcher
March 5, 1955 ~ September 17, 2017

Evan Belcher was called to be with his Lord and Savior on September 17, 2017. Evan was born in Dallas, Texas on March 5, 1955 to his parents, Glenn Wayne Belcher and Ruth Marie Watson-Belcher.
Words can’t express our gratitude to Evan for his service in the United States Army. Upon discharge from the military, Evan pursued diesel mechanics. He spent 30 years working in his trade. He could be relied on for a good dad joke as well as an ice-cold Diet Coke. Evan loved his family and the time spent making memories. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter and great-nieces and nephews. While we are saddened by our loss of a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, our hearts are lightened by the knowledge that he has taken his place in the Eternal Kingdom of Heaven.
Evan is survived by his loving wife, Laurie Belcher; his daughters, Korie Belcher, Mikayla Belcher; his brother, Brian Belcher; his granddaughter, Ella Horton; along with many other loving family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Ruth Belcher, and his brother, Kent W. Belcher.
