Robert O.  Doan
Robert O. Doan, age 78 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Thursday, September 28, 2017, at his home in Cookeville.

Robert was born Monday, January 2, 1939 in Sparta, Tennessee to the late Andy Benton and Lily Rose (Pinegar) Doan.

He was a loving Husband. He loved all of his family, traveling all over the United States, golfing, bowling, and Genealogy. He was U.S. Airforce Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Red Kap Industries/VF Workwear Inc. after 41 years of service.

Robert is survived by his wife of 57 years:
Wilma (Robinson) Doan of Cookeville, TN

Sisters-in-law and Spouses:
Freida and Jerry Poston of Cookeville, TN
Mable Duke of Granville, TN

3 Brothers-in-law and Spouses:
Arnold and Jean Robinson of Boma, TN
Edward and Linda Robinson of Cookeville, TN
Donald and Sandra Robinson of Cookeville, TN

A host of Nieces and Nephews that he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by: 1 Sister: Willie Mae Simmons, 1 Brother-in-law: Gene Duke, and Father and Mother-in-law:
Beecher and Irene Robinson.

Funeral services for Robert will be held Sunday, October 1, 2017 beginning at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Sunday, October 1, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
