Michael Thomas Morgan
Michael Thomas Morgan, 58, of Delray Beach, FL passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2017. He is survived by his fiancé, Kim Detore; his mother, Geraldine Morgan; his siblings, Laura Morgan, Maura Sawtelle and her husband Michael, Lisa Morgan, Stephen Morgan, and Donald Morgan; and beloved uncle of Kathleen, Jonathan, Daniel and Hannah. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Morgan, Sr. and brother, Charles E. Morgan, Jr. Michael will forever be remembered as "Pop-pop" to Rocco and Bailee; and adoring Godfather to Anthony Limauro.

Michael was born and raised in Braintree, Mass. After high school, he served honorably with both the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. He ultimately settled in South Florida where he later met the love of his life, Kim. "Nurse Mike" as he was affectionately known, was a Registered Nurse and was well known in the home health industry. His passions included reading, travelling and attending auctions. Mike found joy in helping others but cherished the time he spent with his friends and family, to whom he was deeply devoted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10 A.M with burial later at 2:30 P.M. at the South Florida National Veteran’s Cemetery, State Road 7, Rt. 441, in Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital are welcome.
