The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Mermer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He left us too soon but what a wonderful legacy he left behind. I cannot think of Ken without seeing that sweet smile that was always on his face. My condolences to your family.

Condolence: Ken was my best boyhood friend during the elementary years. We played together as often as possible, and sometimes did homework together. We were together in all our elementary classes and in Sunday School as well not to mention
Cub Scouts. Sadly we drifted apart during the "sorting out" years of grades 7 -12. He and his wife came to visit us in Arizona where we live. They arrived in a red convertible, and Ken had an enormous smile! Always stylish, talkative, insightful, and funny. He was a good man, and I shall miss him.

Condolence: I have known and been a friend of Ken's since early Elementary School. We have had so many wonderful memories. I cherish that our friendship continued from High School, through college (even though our colleges were hundreds of miles apart), our marriages, families and the golden years of our life. With our other HS buddy, George Meier, we spent many, many good times together. Through all the good times and tough times of his life Ken was always there with a smile, a laugh and the right thing to say. I loved and laughed at his "silent" laugh, it only made me laugh harder. Ken was so modest. In his great career he met many important folks but he always kept his feet firmly on the ground. Ken loved his family and always spoke of them and was so proud of all of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you but I know you have your great memories with Ken that will last forever. For 15 years or so the three High School buddies would take our annual trip of adventure. Our trips will continue with Ken in spirit. I will miss you buddy but you will always be in my mind and we will meet again in that great "sandbar" in the sky.

Condolence: I did not know Ken well but I know he was a fellow Rotarian. He was a member of Nashua Rotary West and I am sure was well known by all there. I am very sorry for your loss. He died at a relatively young age. I am sure this must be very difficult for all of you who loved him. There are never adequate words to comfort a loss of this magnitude. You should know he was loved by many.

Condolence: Ken was my friend, fraternity brother and housemate throughout my years at Northeastern University. A classy, smart guy who I could depend on for words of support and wisdom. Earth is poorer for his passing. RIP my friend and brother.
