The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Publicover can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Dear Karen, Aria, and family, Our hearts are heavy with sadness upon hearing of Ken's passing. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and daily prayers during this loss. Sharing a personal reflection: In 1985, after completing a two-year broadcasting course in Thunder Bay, ON, I started my internship at ATV/ASN Halifax. During this time, I was fortunate to have started my career under the great guidance, direction, and mentoring provided by Ken. Even though he was busy producing/directing, he always had time, for me and other crew members, teaching us how to hone and improve our skills behind the camera and in other television operations. A warm smile, patience, humour, quick-witted personality, perseverance, clear focus, and a consummate professional on so many levels...these are just some of the many attributes and hallmarks that describe Ken Publicover...my friend, teacher, and colleague of many years. Rest in peace, Ken....though you will be greatly missed, I pray that your family, friends, and all you have touched during your life, will be comforted by fond memories and recollections of you and your wonderful life you shared with us. Victor & Ellen
