Condolence From: Kelly, Kent & Sophie POTTLE
Condolence: Dear Karen & Aria,
We just wanted to say how beautiful Ken's service was on Saturday. Your dad would be so proud of you Aria for your amazing performance of Ave Maria and then cheering the whole congregation with Spirit in the Sky. It truly was an incredible tribute. May your lifetime of memories fill your hearts and give you peace. May you find solace knowing how much he was loved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
With love and sympathy,
Kelly, Kent & Sophie (Pottle)

Condolence: Karen, I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear about Ken's passing. I had heard through the grapevine that he wasn't well, but had no idea that things were as bad as they were. I enjoyed working with Ken so much during my time at the MotherCorp; he truly was always professional, always helpful, ever-patient and always ready with a wry, funny comment or thoughtful question. He will be greatly missed, that's for sure. I'm sorry I only learned abut his memorial service too late - please accept my condolences, and take good care of yourself and Aria. All the best - Norman

Condolence: Dear Karen and Family
I was shocked and saddened to hear about Ken's passing at such a young age. While working with him over the years at ATV I always admired his good nature, willingness to take on any assignment and produce great results. When our youngest son, Jaan, started school, Ken was the cameraman who came to our home early in the morning and shot what became an outstanding feature on Live at Five on a boy's first day of school. It is a record on that important day in Jaan's life which we will cherish forever. Ken knew exactly how to shoot it and it will always remind us of him. He was so pleasant, understanding and put Jaan at ease, even though he was reluctant to start school and broke down in tears when Sandy left the school. You can be proud of all Ken achieved in his life. Later I met him again when we both worked at the CBC and his achievements there were outstanding. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today Karen.

Condolence: In our youth, we were more than friends, we were brothers. What seems like days ago is actually decades. How can the time go so fast, and who knew we would never be together again. We had great times together. Lacewood Boys Forever. My deepest condolences to his family.

Condolence: Dear Karen, Aria, and family,
Our hearts are heavy with sadness upon hearing of Ken's passing. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and daily prayers during this loss.
Sharing a personal reflection: In 1985, after completing a two-year broadcasting course in Thunder Bay, ON, I started my internship at ATV/ASN Halifax. During this time, I was fortunate to have started my career under the great guidance, direction, and mentoring provided by Ken. Even though he was busy producing/directing, he always had time, for me and other crew members, teaching us how to hone and improve our skills behind the camera and in other television operations. A warm smile, patience, humour, quick-witted personality, perseverance, clear focus, and a consummate professional on so many levels...these are just some of the many attributes and hallmarks that describe Ken Publicover...my friend, teacher, and colleague of many years. Rest in peace, Ken....though you will be greatly missed, I pray that your family, friends, and all you have touched during your life, will be comforted by fond memories and recollections of you and your wonderful life you shared with us.
Victor & Ellen
