Charles Wayland Hampton, age 74, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017. He worked for BNSF for 43 years. Wayland was a dedicated and loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his son Jack Eldon Aguayo; and parents, Charles and Eva Mae Hampton. Wayland is survived by his loving wife Diane Hampton; children, Kimberly Houston, Michelle Gonzales and her husband, Lorenzo and son, JJ Aguayo; sister, Linda Nicholson; grandchildren, Jimmy Tye, Brandy, Kip, Ashli, Madyson, and Carter; and great-grandchildren, Tye, Avery, Rex, Ace, Presley, and James. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m., at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Los Lunas, on Friday, October 13, 2017. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery.
