Drew

Drew was born with beautiful red hair and was always in a hurry - you know he was almost born in the parking lot of St. Joseph’s Hospital. Drew had a big heart and a kind heart he was always bringing home stray dogs and finding new homes for them

The day before his 17th birthday he went to Ruffins to buy a dog. Hydro was the last of the litter and he was all alone. It broke Drew’s heart to see him there. But Ruffins wouldn’t sell him the dog because Drew wasn’t old enough. So the next day on his 18th birthday he took his birthday money from Nona and brought home Hydro.

He was funny, oh how he was funny. He was always entertaining and saying funny things and we remember everything he said because we would repeat his funny sayings over the years.

He was always hot, sweating like a warthog, and used to always say he wanted to marry Drew Barrymoore so they would have the same name.

Meghan couldn’t have a sleepover without Drew being there stirring up some fun. Making them all laugh and scream

He looked up to his big brothers Dane and Luke always doing whatever they were doing

I’m so thankful that drew had good friends who were good to him and good for him.

The last few weeks of Drew’s life was filled with celebration. He was so excited to see his brother Luke get married. He had a wonderful time at Spencer and Kayla’s wedding. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with his family. We played games we laughed we joked he was truly happy when we were all together.  He loved his family his family loves him
