The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gary Freiberg can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Mary Berg
Condolence: To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you be comforted by the "Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" (2 Cor 1:3) that one day, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." (John 5:28, 29) Deepest sympathy.

Condolence: I met Gary in 1969 at OSU through a mutual friend. We dated and two years later we married and moved to Massachusetts where he attended Harvard Grad School.
He was always kind and caring. Gary exposed me to many wonderful things as a young wife.
I will always be grateful to him for that
and wish we could have spoken a long time ago to wish each other well. I am so sorry his life ended with such pain and way too soon. Love our memories always.

Condolence: I only met Gary a few times, but i knew he was a special man, not just any man would raise their adopted daughter as their own, but he did! Sarah adored her Dad and he adored her. Sharon and Gary were amazing parents who raised an amazing daughter.
