Alice Lorraine Dicus of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on June 3, 1932 in Potosi, a daughter to the late Clifford Wilkerson and Barbara (Politte) Wilkerson. Lorraine was united in marriage to Howard Dicus and there were eight children born to this union.

Lorraine entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family having reached the age of eighty-five years, four months and fourteen days.

Lorraine will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her four sons: Kenny Dicus and wife Peggy of Mineral Point, Donald Dicus and wife Doris of Potosi, Randy Dicus and wife Tammye of Eureka, Jeff Dicus and wife Michelle of Potosi; three daughters: Beverly Arndt and husband Randy of Mineral Point, Donna Yates and husband Dean of Blackwell, Sandy Mercer and husband Gene of Potosi; sixteen grandchildren, a host of great and great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Leonard Joe Stables; sisters-in-law: Daisy Wilkerson, Marie Scott and Patricia Rulo.

In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Dicus; daughter, Darlene Boyster; three grandchildren: Cade Brian Dicus, Macy Beth Mercer, Kaitlyn Harley Mercer; three brothers: Raymond Edward Wilkerson, Clifford “Junior” Wilkerson, Robert Wilkerson; two sisters: Juanita Shearin and faye Stables.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Tommy Dicus, Kyle Dicus, Trevis Boyster, Jason Dicus, Nathan Yates and Cory Dicus.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
