Thank you, Lord God, for Father Ted's life. Father Ted, our best friend and brother since 1969. You prolonged our life when you gave up your physical blood! With your spiritual guide, you formed what we Know today as "Sociedad Compañeros de Jesús". We thank you because, during your annual vacations from your pastoral job, you preferred to come to Ecuador, and share with us your valuable time. You congratulated yourself when you saw that our group grew in members and activities. Your work was tireless with innumerable confessions, which gave peace to many broken hearts. We will miss you so much! Today, when we were preparing to be with you from October 25th to November 8th, your silence alarmed us but we know, now, that God took you to be with him. Even though, he has deprived us of your physical presence, your spirit will be with us always! We are convinced that your ministerial, economic and affective support will live forever in each member of our group. We love you Father Ted! Please intercede for your children whom you formed for the glory of God. Please ask our Lord his help, so we can grow in quality and quantity, specially in our internal community. We join in the grief of Gerard Pieper's family, his wife and children, all this relatives, and also to all the priests and missionaries. (Mons. Luis Casey).
