Condolences

Condolence From: Diana Austin
Condolence: I had the privilege to be on Roger's list of customers. As read in all condolences I knew him to be a hard working, conscientious person. If he was going to do something, he did it well. I always arrived early when he was coming as he said, "if I'm not 15 minutes early, I'm late". He lived the statement, "Be the change you want to see in this world". There is no greater compliment.

Condolence: I was very sorry to learn of Roger's unexpected passing. I worked with Roger at Novozymes Biologicals and always found him to be a caring and compassionate individual. He worked hard to be successful during his employment. I know he will be truly missed by all who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his family. May God give you comfort during this most difficult time.

Condolence: I am so saddened by the passing of Roger. We served together in the 229th Chemical Company, a unit of the Virginia Army National Guard. Roger always was a helpful man to anyone in need. Additionally he was a good NCO. I spoke with Roger frequently as he was a customer of mine. We always shared stories of our years in the chemical company. He will be greatly missed and I have his wife and family in my prayers. He was a great friend.

Condolence From: Gray Kendall
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Roger. We served together in the 229th. Roger had a quick wit and a good sense of humor. We could always count on him for a solution to a problem and a little laughter to ease the stress. He truly cared about his fellow soldiers. It was an honor to serve with him.

Condolence: We are so saddened for all of those who lost a friend and a loved one in Roger. Although we have only known Roger for a short time he became a friend over the last six months. I always admired his kindness, friendliness, and drive to help others. I know that he touched many lives and helped many people. I know he was so proud of his daughter and wife and how important they were in his life. For All who loved and lost Roger please accept our thoughts and prayers.

Condolence From: Jamie Clark
Condolence: I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one.

God views death as an enemy. (1 Cor. 15:26)

And, God is eager to conquer this enemy death, and to resurrect our loved ones. (Job 14:14,15)

At that time, death will be no more. (Rev.21:4)

I hope this comforts you and your family.

Condolence: I was shocked to hear of Rogers passing. I was his Sergeant in the 229th Chemical Company. He was always full of surprises. The first time I met him he had bamboo shoots in his nose and in his ears. When he first arrived in the guard I was skeptical about him, but after the first summer camp he straightened out. He was a very hard worker and was a true friend tome and everyone in the maintenance shop. We enjoyed our drills and summer camps. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. I am proud to have know him and to have spent time with him. May god bless his family at this time.
