Obituary for Iris Nayda
On October 22, 2017, Iris Nayda of Edmonton passed away at the age of 73 years.
Iris is survived by her two sisters, Helen Chaibos of Edmonton, and Elsie Marak of Morinville; two nephews, Larry (Naida) Marak and Terry (Melissa) Chaibos; three nieces, Susan (Myles) Sosnowsky, Arlene Chaibos, and Kathy (Peter) Chalcraft; five great-nephews; and five great-nieces. Predeceased by her parents, Pearl and Peter Nayda.
Thank you to the staff of Unit 2C of Capitalcare Dickinsfield for their care and compassion given to Iris.
Funeral Service Saturday, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Michael’s Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society, 9139 – 39 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6E 5Y2.
