Funeral Services for James A. Floyd, age 83, of Eastlake, will be 8:00 PM, Monday, October 30, 2017 at the Jakubs-Waite Funeral Home, 36000 Lakeshore Blvd., Eastlake, where family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 and from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mr. Floyd was born on October 6, 1934 in Apollo, PA to the late William G. and Jenny Carol (nee Artman) Floyd and passed away on October 27, 2017.
Jim loved woodworking, archery, and camping. His greatest love of all is family.
James is the beloved husband of 63 years to Shirley M. (nee Rehrer); loving father of Brenda L. Collins (Bill), Robin L. Lewis (Chuck), and Holly C. Pastor (Paul); cherished grandfather of Charlie (Susie), Amy (Joe), Jake (Amy), Kelly (Graham), Renee, Aidan, and Owen; proud great-grandfather of Adrianna, Hunter, Elijah, Aria, and Emery; brother of Marian, Faye (deceased), Glenn (deceased), and Lyle (deceased). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Cleveland or to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Entombent will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
