Obituary for Anna Lee Scott (Hunter)

Anna Lee Hunter Scott was born, March 28th 1952, in Indianola Mississippi to the late Hezekiah and Flora Hunter. She departed this earthly life to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at UNC Chapel Hill-Orange County.
She was educated in the public schools of Indianola County. Upon graduating from High school she joined the military. While stationed in Germany she met her husband Rodney Scott. They were married March 18, 1981 and have been together for 36 years. Together they have two children Javorris and Malissa. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin to the family. After her discharge from the Army, she worked at the Fayetteville Manufacturing Company, dining facility in Darmstadt Germany, and Purolator.
She enjoyed cooking, sports especially football and the Dallas Cowboys. She loved being around the family during holidays.
Anna Scott leaves to cherish her fond and loving memories; husband, Rodney Scott, son, Javorris (Latessa) Scott of Hawaii, daughter, Malissa Scott; grandchildren, Shaliah Doakes, Ijene Doakes, Jaiden Scott, Dominique Nicholson, Josiah Scott, and Devante Wedlock; brothers, Hezekiah (Rita) Hunter, Elliott Hunter, (Sharon) and Albert (Daynese) Hunter all of Dayton, Ohio; David Earl Hunter, Sidney Hunter, and Darryl Hunter all of Morehead Mississippi, Charles Hunter of New Jersey; sisters Margaret (Lee) Carter of Seattle Washington, Jane Hunter of Elizabeth City NJ, and Henrietta Hunter of Memphis Tennessee; sister- in-laws Evelyn Parker, and Jacqueline Scott of Blackstone, VA; brother in law Thomas (Cheryl) Scott of Columbia SC; and many nieces and nephews.
