Obituary for Debora Delaine Beeker

Mrs. Debora Christy Beeker, age 64 passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, October 30, 2017.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Keith Walters officiating. Burial will be held at Carolina Memorial Park.

Debora was born February 11, 1953 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Henry B. Christy and Shirley Tallent Christy. She loved trips to the beach with her family, spending time with her grandchildren and cooking. Fresh baked pound cakes at Christmas were always a must. Debora was an active member of Pauls Crossing Baptist Church in Richfield. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Those left to cherish Debora’s memory are her husband, Kevin D. Beeker; daughter, Kristie Cleavenger of Richfield; son, John Faggart and wife, Adrienne of New London; sister, Linda Burton of Sarasota, FL; brother, Rick Christy and wife, Connie of Cleveland, NC; grandchildren, Malia Faggart, Caleb Cleavenger, Jasmine, Austin and Baleigh Faggart; nephews, Garret and Chad Christy, niece, Elisha Barbee, nephew, Ace Barbee, special friend and care taker, Heather Leonard, and a host of other loving relatives, friends and her canines, Mollie, Punkin, Red Man, Toby and Roxie.
