Obituary for Robert Allen Haessler Jr.

Robert Allen Haessler Jr., age 67, went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2017. He was born in Milwaukee to Robert and Pearl (nee Lambrecht) on February 2, 1950. He graduated from Brown Deer High School and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a devoted employee at ASI Technologies in Milwaukee for over 40 years. He enjoyed going to the movies, hunting, fishing, and spending time up north. Bob spent a lot of time in his work shop and enjoyed fixing and building things. Above all, he loved spending time with family and his beloved cat, Sadie.
He is survived by his wife Darlene (nee Gendrich); children, Candy (Ryan) Slane, Bob III and Curt Haessler (Amy Rondorf), step-children, Lisa Sporleder (Kris Bergman), and Jason (Jenny) Sporleder; grandchildren, Kayla, Elise, and Anna; mother, Pearl; siblings, Michael (Deb), Steven (Sandi), Sandra (Todd Proveaux) and Shellie (Paul) Krieg; brother-in-law and best friend, Mike Gendrich. He is further survived by other siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his father Robert Sr.; brother Scott; and parents-in-law Larry and Maryann Gendrich.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 6:00 PM at St. Peter Catholic Church (200 E Washington St., Slinger) with Fr. Richard Stoffel presiding. The Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday, November 7th from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Washington County Humane Society (3650 State Road 60, Slinger, WI 53086).
