Obituary for Marlene Ann Christensen (Christensen)
Marlene Ann Christensen, 81 years old, passed away on November 2, 2017 at home. She was born in Linden, NJ and lived in Westfield before moving to Sunshine Harbor, Point Pleasant in 1974.
Marlene worked with the Union County Public Defenders Office in the 70s, AT&T in the 80s, Real Estate in the 90s, and the Bay Head Improvement Association with her son in 00s. Growing up summering along the Metedeconk river, Marlene loved sailing and fishing with her family. Later, she loved living on the water and vacationing to Florida with her sons.
Marlene was predeceased by her husband Robert Li Sooey Esq. in 1996. She is survived by two sons Edward Mrozek of Florida; Christopher Li and his wife Jordan of Point Pleasant; a brother Gary Christensen; two sisters Gail Christensen of Avon and Barbara Shubeck of Florida. She also leaves two grandchildren Jack and Stella Li.
Interment Private. Orender Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road, Manasquan, NJ is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Marlene’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org.
