Sylvia was a member of the Elizabeth Denton English NSDAR chapter in Mineola for over 12 years. She served as Recording Secretary and also served as Chaplain when I was Regent. We had many garage sales at her house which enabled our chapter's fundraisers. She gave programs on her Indian heritage to our chapter, the library and other organizations. Sylvia was always there to Len a helping hand. Sylvia will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. Mary Sockwell
