I shared many a night working st the DV shelter with Myra. She was a good person with a very big heart and a contagious laugh. May you Rest In Peace, dear Myra.

Kim Nichols, Development Director, The Retreat
Myra took care of some many families during her time at The Retreat. She was instrumental in organizing the emergency shelter and making sure these families got the services and resources needed to heal and thrive. Myra is the reason many of these families call themselves survivors instead of victims. She was one tough cookie who fought for what these families needed. On behalf of the staff and families served by The Retreat, thank you Myra. P.S. The new generation of feral cats from the ones Myra adopted are still part of The Retreat family and are being well cared for.

Always enjoyed my time spent with Myra at the Village Green. I went on many appointment with her an she fought bravely and gracefully. She also enjoyed me stopping by even for a short visit. We use to talk about our teaching years and her home in the Hamptons. I will miss you Myra. Fly high and free of pain and suffering.
